Only the person(s) specified in the contract and delivery form can use the vehicle you rented. No damage assurance is valid for damages that may occur if third parties not specified in the contract use the vehicle. You can purchase "Additional Driver" service to increase the number of vehicle users. Additional driver; If there is someone or someone else who will drive the vehicle other than the person renting the vehicle, it must be purchased. A maximum of 5 additional drivers can be defined for a vehicle. It is possible to rent within the conditions of age and license year determined in vehicle groups. If these conditions are not met, you can purchase a "Young Driver" service package and rent within the limits of this package. The young driver service package also includes the “Maximum Assurance” service. You can call us for additional Driver and Young Driver Service fees.

Age and License Year Conditions

Minimum age and license year information depending on vehicle groups are given in the table below. These conditions must be met by both the tenant and the additional driver(s). It is mandatory to have a TR ID number on the driver's license. It is not possible to rent with driver's licenses combined with new identities. You must have your driver's license with you.

  • In order to rent vehicles in the economy segment, you must be at least 21 years old and have a driver's license for 1 year. People between the ages of 19-21 and who have a driver's license for 1 year can rent a car from the economic group by paying the Young Driver fee.

  • In order to rent vehicles in the comfort segment, it is required to be at least 25 years old and have a driving license for 2 years. Persons between the ages of 21-25 and who have a driver's license for 2 years can rent a vehicle from the comfort group by paying the Young Driver fee.

  • In order to rent prestige segment vehicles, it is necessary to be at least 25 years old and have a driving license for 2 years. Persons between the ages of 21-25 and who have a driver's license for 2 years can rent a car from the Prestige group by paying the Young Driver fee.

  • In order to rent premium segment vehicles, it is necessary to be at least 27 years old and have a driver's license for 3 years. Persons between the ages of 21-27 and who have a driver's license for 3 years can rent a vehicle from the premium group by paying the Young Driver fee.

  • In order to rent luxury segment vehicles, you must be at least 27 years old and have a driver's license for 3 years. People between the ages of 21-27 and who have a driver's license for 3 years can rent a car from the luxury group by paying the Young Driver fee.

The minimum duration of car rental is 24 hours for daily rentals and 30 days for monthly rentals.

Prices include Damage Liability Assurance, Theft Assurance and 18% Value Added tax. The right to use the kilometer in daily car rental service is limited to 4000 km per contract for 7 days or longer rentals, provided that the daily usage is 500 km. The right to use mileage in the monthly car rental service is limited to 3000 km. The mileage fee varies on the basis of vehicle group, and you can call us for detailed information. Fuel, Personal Accident Insurance, Mini Damage Insurance, Optional Liability Assurance, One-Way Fee, Delivery / Pick-up Fee (between 0-26 km), depending on office availability, Baby Seat, Navigation, Bridge and Highway Crossing with Additional Driver Device-Card Usage Fee is calculated separately. The vehicles are delivered to the customer with a full tank of gasoline. For vehicles returned with a missing or empty tank of fuel, the fuel difference is charged together with the service fee.

 

In case the vehicle is received from one city and returned to another city, the one-way fee stipulated by CMD Rental is applied. Fee information varies by office and can be viewed at the booking stage. You can get detailed information by calling us.

In order for the vehicle to be used by the person and/or persons other than the renter, it is possible to add the Driver's License information of the additional driver to the Rental Agreement with an additional fee. In the event of an accident by the user or users not included in the rental agreement, all guarantees will be deemed invalid, and both the lessor and the person/persons using the vehicle will be held responsible separately and jointly. You can call us for price and detailed information. (Additional driver rental terms are the same as those found in Driver's License and Age Restrictions.)

You will be informed about the vehicle you have booked, in our offices, and your credit score will be checked and evaluated with the Findeks application of the Credit Registration Bureau. If your credit limit is not found suitable for prepaid reservations, the car rental fee will be returned to you within 3 to 5 working days.

In case of delays in returning the vehicles, the option is only applied up to 59 minutes.

The total rental amount and security fees are collected at the beginning of the rental with the personal credit card of the person who is renting the vehicle with his/her name and surname. There is no cash payment, debit or virtual card application.

 

The rental agreement is opened during the rental and is arranged according to the laws and practices of the rental country. CMD RENTAL General Rental Conditions are valid for the rentals to be realized.

 

The difference in the invoice amount that may occur at the end of the rental is collected or refunded at the rental point. The credit card holder must be present in person at the time of rental. It is not possible to rent with someone else's credit card. In addition to the rental fee, a certain amount of deposit is collected from the credit card presented by the customer, depending on the brand and model of the vehicle to be rented. For this reason, it is necessary to have limit availability (up to the total cost of rent and deposit). The amount collected as a deposit at the end of the lease, if any, the above-mentioned additional services, guarantees, missing fuel, damage, penalty, etc. It will be refunded to the same card after deducting the costs that are not included in the reservation. Deposit refunds are reflected on your credit card within 3-5 working days after the refund is made due to the internal communication of the bank.

Online Prepayment/Immediate Payment means that you can pay your rental fee and the additional services you have chosen online, immediately. Online reservation page; It does not replace the car rental agreement, whether the reservation is confirmed or not. Rental is made on behalf of the person whose name is given in the Prepaid Reservation Form details.

 

Due to 3D security, it is not obligatory for the cardholder and the reservation owner to be the same person during online payment, but during the rental, the reservation owner must be able to present a credit card of his own and the deposit must be made.

 

If CMD Rental is unable to provide the rental service due to reasons related to it, it will refund the entire amount previously paid by the customer. For rentals to be made from CMD Rental offices, the prepaid reservations are limited to the amounts written on the CMD Rental Prepaid Reservation Forms.

CMD Rental Prepaid Reservation forms include additional services and assurances that our customers may request at the beginning or during the rental process, as well as fuel, one-way, traffic fines and damage costs (in cases where the conditions explained in the section on what to do in case of accident and theft written in the rental agreement are not met), etc. Does not include expenses. For these costs, our customers are required to present a personal credit card during the rental.

 

During the reflection of the payments made to the credit card of our customers, all kinds of commissions, foreign exchange differences, service fees, etc. that the banks to which the used credit card belongs, may apply for any reason. costs are not the responsibility of CMD Rental brand.

 

If CMD Rental is unable to provide the rental service due to its own reasons, it will refund the entire amount previously paid by the customer.

 

CMD Rental Prepaid Reservation amount includes the car rental fee and the additional services you have received during the reservation. At the beginning of the rental, a personal credit card must be presented for additional services and possible extras (HGS, fuel, traffic ticket, one-way, in cases where the conditions described in the section of what to do in case of accident and theft written in the rental agreement are not met, etc.).

 

Rental conditions for prepaid reservations are listed below.

  • Rental date, hour, vehicle information, rental office cannot be updated or changed in Prepaid reservations.

  • The total amount of the car rental fee booked with the prepayment option and the additional product and assurance packages you have chosen will be collected at the reservation stage.

  • The discount earned through a prepaid reservation cannot be combined with any other campaign.

  • In a rental made with a prepaid reservation, if the rental period exceeds the period specified in the reservation form, the additional fee to be incurred is collected from the credit card presented by our customer at the beginning of the rental, by applying a 20% discount over the list prices on the days of extension.

  • For prepaid reservations, unused days of our customers are not refunded if the vehicle is returned earlier than the reservation deadline.

  • For Prepaid reservations, if the reservation is canceled 12 hours before the vehicle pick-up time, the entire rental fee will be refunded by CMD Rental.

  • If there is less than 12 hours left before the rental start time of the Prepaid reservation, the following conditions will apply.

    • 1 day deduction is applied for 1-3 day reservations.

    • For reservations of 4-7 days, a 2-day deduction is applied.

    • A 20% deduction is applied for reservations of 8 days or more.

  • In Prepaid reservations, the vehicles belonging to our customers will be kept for 2 hours from the pick-up time, and our customers will be able to receive their vehicles within these two hours. After 2 hours, the reservation will be canceled automatically by the system and no refund will be made.

  • Refund process for Prepaid Reservations varies between 3 and 5 working days, depending on the bank's processing intensity.

  • In order for the vehicles to be delivered to our customers in Prepaid Reservations, the General Rental Conditions and the following conditions must be fulfilled. If the following conditions are not met, the vehicle will not be allocated and the above return conditions apply.

  • The payment method for the deposit is only personal credit card and there is no cash payment or debit card application.

  • The deposit amount, which varies according to the rental type and vehicle group, must be provided from the personal credit card. The credit card must contain the name and surname of the person who will be renting.

  • In addition to the rental fee, there must be sufficient limit eligibility for the deposit amount to be placed on the credit card.

  • The person who will receive the vehicle must present his driver's license and his own credit card to the CMD Rental office.

  • In order for the Middle and Upper segment rental to take place, 1 credit card belonging to different banks must be presented.

  • The writings on the driver's licenses must be legible and the driver's license must not be worn.

  • If the driver's license does not include a TR Identity number, it is required to submit a Turkish Identity Number.

  • Users with a foreign driver's license must present their passport to the office where they will be renting.

Any liability and material traffic fines arising from non-compliance with the current traffic laws belong to the user. Fines for traffic and illegal bridges and highway tolls, which occur during the rental period of the vehicle but reach us after the end of the rental, are collected from the person and/or company specified in the rental agreement. The time that will pass due to the detention of the vehicles by the official or local authorities for whatever reason is considered within the contract period. In traffic fines written on the plate, the traffic fine is paid at a discount when notified to us and is collected from the credit card of our customers; Concurrently, the service fee of the traffic fine is also applied.

In case of an accident, it is obligatory to keep an accident report in accordance with the shape of the accident without changing the location of the vehicle, or to obtain accident, theft and alcohol detection reports by applying to the nearest police or gendarmerie station, and to inform the Communication Center at 444 28 47, which provides 24/7 service. In case the vehicle is stolen, it is obligatory to apply to the nearest police or gendarmerie station and inform the Communication Center at 444 28 47, which provides 24/7 service. Otherwise, all guarantees purchased will be deemed invalid and any damage will be collected from the tenant, including material and moral losses given to third parties. In case of malfunction of the vehicle or if support is needed for any reason, assistance should be obtained from the 24/7 service 444 28 47 telephone.

  • Please make sure that the vehicle delivery and pick-up form is filled and mutually signed at the beginning and during the return of the rental.

  • To extend the rental period, to notify / change the return time and day, please call the office where you rented or call us.

  • You can call us in case of an accident, vehicle breakdown or if you need support for any reason during the rental.

  • If the vehicle has a periodic maintenance mileage while you are using it, please call our Contact Center so that you can continue your journey safely.

  • In case of accident or theft of the vehicle unilaterally, accident, theft and alcohol detection reports must be obtained by applying to the nearest police or gendarmerie station without changing the location of the (vehicle). In DOUBLE-SIDED accidents, drivers are obliged to fill in the Material Damage Accident Detection Report as specified on the report, depending on the type of accident, except for the cases stated in the following items. In bilateral accidents, the traffic accident report is issued by the traffic police only in the following cases.

  • If you are driving a motor vehicle without a driver's license,

  • If the driver is under age,

  • If the driver is suspected of alcohol or mental health,

  • If one of the vehicles involved in the accident belongs to public institutions,

  • If damage occurs to goods belonging to public institutions,

  • If only the belongings of third parties are damaged in a traffic accident,

  • If one of the vehicles involved in the accident does not have traffic insurance,

  • If the traffic accident resulted in death and/or bodily harm.

Optional Financial Liability Assurance: These are the guarantees covering the damages given to third parties.

 

Mini Damage Assurance: It is a damage assurance that gives the customer the right to repair with a declaration of up to 1,000 TL in case of unilateral damage (car park damage, tire rupture, etc.), where it is not possible to prepare a report or keep a record.  It also covers the glass - headlight - mirror assurance.

 

Super Mini Damage Assurance: It is a damage assurance that gives the customer the right to repair with a declaration of up to 2,500 TL in case of unilateral damage (car park damage, tire tearing, etc.), where it is not possible to prepare a report or keep a record.  It also covers the glass - headlight - mirror assurance.

 

Personal Accident Insurance: It is the insurance that covers the driver and the people in the vehicle, depending on the number of seats in the vehicle.

 

THE WARRANTIES DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE FOR GENERAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES. DETAILED INFORMATION CAN BE OBTAINED FROM OUR RENTAL OFFICE.

  • Turkish citizens who will make a rental know and accept that it is only possible to drive in our country with their driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries, only under the following conditions and conditions:

    1. With the driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries, the vehicle can be used for a maximum of 1 year from the date of entry into our country.

    2. Those who have been in our country for more than six months are required to have the Turkish translation of their driver's license approved by foreign representatives or notary public, together with their driver's license while driving.

    3. At the end of one year, it is obligatory to replace the driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries with our country's driver's license in order to be able to drive in our country.

  • Foreign nationals who will be renting know and accept that it is possible to drive in our country with their driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries under the following conditions and conditions:

    1. With the driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries, the vehicle can be used for a maximum of six months from the date of entry into our country.

    2. At the end of six months, in order to be able to drive in our country, it is obligatory to replace the driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries with our country's driver's license.

Without prejudice to the relevant laws and the provisions of bilateral and multilateral agreements, the procedures and principles regarding the replacement of the driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries with the driver's licenses of our country are as follows:

  • The application can be made to any traffic registration authority.

  • The information and documents that must be submitted during the application are determined by the General Directorate of Security.

  • Except for the education and examination condition specified in Article 41 of Law No. 2918, non-conviction, age, education and health conditions in the same article are sought for those who will get a driver's license. However, without prejudice to the provisions of bilateral or multilateral agreements and practices, the written declaration that they meet the necessary conditions is taken as basis for foreigners with diplomatic exemption.

  • When necessary, examination and research can be done about the accuracy of the driver's license through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or our foreign representatives.

  • Temporarily obtained foreign driver's licenses are not changed.

  • Driver's licenses obtained from countries that are not party to the Road Traffic Convention and do not have a bilateral agreement on mutual recognition and exchange of driver's licenses cannot be exchanged with our country's driver's licenses.

  • Driver's licenses obtained by Turkish citizens from countries that are party to the Road Traffic Convention are replaced with their equivalent or equivalent driver's licenses.

  • Our country's driver's licenses, which correspond to the driver's licenses issued to use motor bikes (mopeds), motorcycles, rubber-wheeled tractors, construction machines or automobiles that foreigners have obtained from the countries that are party to the Road Traffic Convention, and the driver's licenses given to use other vehicle types are the B-class drivers of our country. However, the documents of those who are authorized to use these vehicles by attaching a trailer are replaced with our country's BE class driver's license. If other class driver's licenses are requested, education and examination conditions are also sought.

  • In order for people who have obtained a driver's license from foreign countries to obtain a different class driver's license in our country, they must have converted their driver's license from foreign countries into a driver's license in our country.

  • Driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries replaced with our country's driver's licenses are sent to the relevant country.

  • Action is taken in accordance with Article 39 of the Law No. 2918 about those who drive without meeting the conditions specified in this article with their driver's licenses obtained from foreign countries.

In all your rental transactions, along with your old or new identity documents, a driver's license suitable for the rental vehicle class must also be presented.

  1. Extending the Rental Period: If you want to extend your rental period, you need to apply for it and get approval. Extensions without approval will be a violation of the lease agreement. Since the price information in your rental agreement is limited to the dates specified in the agreement, you can call the CMD Rental Office where you made your rental for the updated price information on the dates you will extend your rental period.

  2. Monthly Mileage Collection: If there is an excess of mileage in your rental that you want to terminate, the fee for exceeding the kilometer will be charged separately, in line with the monthly mileage limit (3,000 km) and kilometer excess fees specified in the rental conditions. There is no pool mileage application for your monthly rentals over a month. If there is an excess of mileage limit, it is collected from you every month in line with the current mileage information obtained with a verbal statement. Considering the total time used when the rental ends, if the total mileage is below the specified limit, the mileage surcharge will be refunded on your last contract. 

  3. Vehicle Inspection Periods: In your monthly or daily rentals that continue without price changes, you must bring the vehicle to the office every 3 months within the scope of vehicle inspections. For price changes, you have to visit our CMD Rental Office within the scope of contract renewals.
